When Euromonitor decided to undertake an overhaul of their current subscriptions model they were put in touch with ROKi by Salesforce. With recent projects including launching a subscriptions and CRM platform for Guardian News and Media and having a team who not only understood Salesforce but have experience delivering and working with Zuora as a platform.
With a large portion of their business being driven from subscription sales and allowing customers to access data flexibly but allowing for a better sales experience that is joined up and allows development from an opportunity to a physical sale and offering customers both new and existing a flexible and progressive services model.
First task was to define the business requirements with high level epics that needed to be translated to detailed requirements to allow for accurate estimates and plans from 3rd party development teams and importantly Zuora, who needed to understand the subscription models needed and the data, process and use cases that needed to be supported.
Governance was important in this project, with so many moving parts and a number of dependencies that needed tracking and managing carefully to ensure that a programme plan could be realistic and budgets were controlled. We were able to provide one of our consultants who not only had subject matter expertise but was able to guide the programme and support the stakeholders with onsite presence.
The project was complex with ROKi managing the full end to end delivery cycle on behalf of the customer, from project management to testing we were able to respond to the customers requirements with a flexible approach the provided support and guidance with overarching governance to drive the change programme forward.
